You need to understand whether you have a suction hood with internal recirculation or an external suction hood. Each hood has an identification code, which you can either find in the hood itself or in the instruction booklet.

The filters are an integral part of the hood; their maintenance affects the effectiveness, duration and noise of the hood

Grease filters protect the motor from fats contained in the vapours extracted by the hood, thus avoiding premature wear and tear. 

Anti-odour activated carbon filters effectively prevent unpleasant smells

We recommend replacing the filters every 3 months.
